Our client, a leading shopper marketing services company, works with brands and retailers to connect with consumers using targeted offers: point of sale, digital, mobile and social.
The Job
Note: There are two locations: Nashville, TN and Charlotte, NC. You will work remotely but should be close to one of these two cities, where major retail clients are headquartered.
Position: Key Account Director

Are you a first-rate sales professional with deep expertise in the CPG and retail space, and superlative client relationship skills?
Experience:
We are looking for a Senior Director to lead, manage and grow a key retail account. Working frequently on-site with the retail partner, you will create win-win new business opportunities for our client, for brands, and for the retailer.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully introduce new products
- Develop and maintain relationships with top client executives
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic initiatives
- Proactively promote growth, change, and win-win sales programs across channels
Experience:
- First-rate sales and client relationship skills
- 5+ years in sales/business development working with national CPG brands and/or major retailers
- Deep familiarity with best practices and developing trends in retailer sales and marketing
- Knowledge of shopper marketing and targeted communications strategies
