Director/Vice President, Analytics and Measurement
The Position
The Director/VP Analytics will be responsible for converting “big data” into business value. The analytics leader will guide a team to help the business better understand sales performance and optimize marketing effectiveness both domestically and globally.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead internal analytics team in the production of cyclical and ad hoc reporting analysis
- Forecast sales performance, product mix expectations, and promotional program impact
- Work closely with VP of Marketing Technology to measure digital media effectiveness through digital attribution data monitoring
- Aid in the design of new promotions by providing predictive forecasting of performance
- Represent findings and recommendations to key internal and external stakeholders
- Partner with IT to ensure appropriate data infrastructure and data integrity
- Manage 3rd party vendors and analytics budget

Skills and Experience
- BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Computer Programming
- 10 years experience in business/marketing analytics function
- Strong hands-on quantitative modeling skills and competency in SQL, SAS, BI segmentation, predictive and descriptive modeling
- Background in retail analytics, digital marketing and CRM preferred
- Expertise and knowledge in testing methodologies such as A/B, multivariate, etc.
- Experience with 2nd and 3rd party data
- Data visualization expertise
