Digital Marketing Director
The Position:
Our Insurance Industry client has an exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic, creative Digital Marketing team. This candidate will work seamlessly across Enterprise Marketing and the broader organization to drive profitable acquisition growth and increases in customer satisfaction with company’s products and services.
Candidate will direct the development of all national and local digital acquisition campaigns and drive strategy around a holistic digital customer communications plan designed to increase our company’s customer lifetime value.
They are seeking a creative, driven, passionate individual to fill this key role in driving business results for the company.
Position: Digital Marketing Director

Key Responsibilities:
- Align internal teams and external vendors on holistic digital marketing strategy vision
- Develop and execute profitable digital acquisition performance marketing strategy, including all aspects of creative, media buying and success reporting across search, display and native advertising
- Perform in-depth quantitative analysis of acquisition programs and manage company investment based on relative channel profitability
- Direct digital go-to-market campaigns to new and current customers for our company’s product and innovation launches
- Drive SEO strategy and operationalization with internal team and key 3rd parties
- Partner with internal stakeholders to implement Big Data utilization vision and execution plan, including but not limited to 1:1, personalized digital marketing capabilities
- Optimize Local performance marketing activities on behalf of thousands of our company’s Insurance agents and maintenance of multi-million dollar cost share program
- Lead business requirements for operational data mart and Customer Contact Management technology/infrastructure
- Leverage mobile technology to re-imagine communication to prospects and our company’s current customers
- Partner with Product Marketing, Operations and Marketing IT to deliver best-in-class digital experiences designed to engage the company’s target segment
- Manage all technical and operational implementation across acquisition and retention digital marketing campaigns
- Motivate, lead and grow internal team
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
- Experience working with both client-side Business and IT Teams
- Exceptional creative thinking and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives
- Strong working technical knowledge of web analytics and SEO
Experience Requirements:
- Digital experience required, in a direct marketing capacity
- Experience with CRM strategy and marketing/email technology platforms
- Prior management of digital creative, including graphical display, native advertising and search ads
- Strong technical aptitude including ability to understand basic website technology
- Demonstrated prowess in capturing and creating value from big data
- Ability to analyze and interpret data using advanced Excel
- Previous team management experience required
