Account Manager

An established firm specializing in alternative media programs and list management.
The Position
The Account Manager will be responsible for contributing to client support as part of a team of client facing staff to provide outstanding service to the customer base. The Account Manager will focus on program growth and strategic thought leadership; manage day-to-day processes and marketing programs for a portfolio of clients. The position will contribute to the overall team success applying techniques such as upselling, cross-selling and order follow-up.

Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for assigned marketing client accounts
- Provide exceptional account support to build and maintain a positive relationships with client accounts
- Contribute to consultative engagements with clients regarding tactical marketing execution efforts
- Respond to the needs of the clients in a timely and professional manner
- Work in collaboration with clients and coworkers to support and profitably grow client programs
Skills and Experience Required
- 1-3 years’ experience in direct response marketing or related field required
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills required
- Understanding of NextMark or SRDS research platforms preferred
- Intermediate level experience with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
