Our client, a loyalty/CRM-focused marketing services company in San Francisco, is looking for a talented Senior Account Director to manage client relationships and lead an account team.

The Job
You should at least 8 years of agency experience [or a combination of agency and client-side experience]
As one of the top client services manager in the office, the Senior Account Director is responsible for the strategic direction, management and execution for relationships and projects with named clients. You will be expected to contribute significantly to performance, revenue, profitability and growth. This position reports directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop and retain strong client relationships: lead current projects and discover new opportunities with existing clients
- Staff management: Lead, train, coach, mentor
- Account management: Oversee client deliverables
- New business development: Identify opportunities and contribute to pitches/RFPs
Skills and Experience
- 8+ years marketing experience – agency experience required, client-side experience also helpful
- Loyalty or CRM experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading a marketing agency team serving one or more major clients
- Must have experience in relevant verticals (Technology, Hospitality, Retail)
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and execution that produced superior results
- Strong expertise in gathering and utilizing data in marketing programs
- Proven skills in project leadership for client accounts
- Literate in digital communications channels: web, email, mobile and social media
- Experience in managing the development of creative project briefs and program proposals
- Natural leadership, motivational and organizational skills
