Job Description:

Headquartered in Norwalk, CT, web-based marketing company has created a new position for a senior Creative Director for a newly formed group developing a new line of business.

The new business venture will focus on creating industry specific consumer websites to provide unique information, services and utilities with the specific intention of creating consumer databases of deep information that can be sold as leads to marketers interested in reaching these consumers with their business proposition. Additionally, the team will create outbound consumer communications programs as well as outbound communications programs to the lead buyer networks.

The Director, Design and Development will be instrumental in providing the creative online look and feel of the consumer website presence and all outbound communication efforts for this new group. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, team-based environment with solid experience in online direct marketing and a strong strategic capability to contribute long term planning and growth of the business.

• Contribute to the overall strategy development and implementation of the consumer Lead Generation offering
• Collaborate with the Site Director and the technology team to create compelling consumer websites
• Work with the copy writer to develop and implement the overall look and feel of the consumer website and outbound communications
• Create all design elements, graphic treatments and design templates for ongoing use for the consumer website and outbound communications
• 5+ years of consumer focused graphic design experience including extensive interactive experience - samples required.
• Ability to design in Adobe Creative Suite 2 and develop functional web-pages in HTML and Flash (experience with CSS, DHTML & AJAX a plus)
• User interface design and interaction design experience
• Direct marketing mind-set and design experience
• Brand strategy and implementation support experience preferred
• Must be highly motivated and results-oriented; highly flexible, adaptable nature is required, along with strong interpersonal skills.
