Our Client is a leading digital and direct marketing agency that provides marketing services and strategies to drive customer acquisition, cross-sell, loyalty, affinity and care operations across digital and traditional media for world-leading brands.

The primary function of the Vice President, Analytics is to provide integrated marketing analytical solutions across customers and channels to improve client decision-making.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following responsibilities:

Detailed Description:

  • Manage the delivery of analytical products and services to our Company's chip client roster
  • Identify key client issues; conceptualize consumer behavior in models; deliver analyses and provide critical business insights
  • Represent analytic capability in new business pitches, increase marketplace awareness of capability, sell high-value-added analytic services as a core component of Company relationships
  • Direct ongoing client relationships, exceed client expectations and strengthen the overall relationship
  • Deliver marketing solutions with demonstrated understanding of challenges/opportunities; integration of analytics with database, processing and strategy; and a proven focus on ROI/business value
  • Codify and publish formal frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues, both leveraging existing intellectual capital and developing innovative concepts
  • Provide methodological support, coaching and training to staff on client and internal assignments
  • Create staff development plans for direct reports, provide feedback and performance evaluations
  • Perform ongoing training activities to educate staff in strategic analytical concepts and issues
Qualifications:
  • MS/PhD in Statistics or related field with 8+ years of analytics experience in a strategy consulting firm or direct marketing agency a must
  • Demonstrate data interpretation capabilities and provide actionable marketing recommendations
  • Extensive experience with analytic segmentation, database marketing, CRM tools and technologies, test design, reporting and analysis design, measurement strategy development, statistical modeling, financial modeling, web marketing measurement and site analysis
  • Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship skills and experience managing and leading teams
  • Demonstrated marketing thought leadership such as design and/or delivery of new products/solutions, white papers and conference speaking
  • High proficiency in analytic methods and tools including models, time series, optimization, simulation, financial modeling, experimental design, SAS, SPSS
