Job Description:

We have an opening for a VP of Operations at a new company developing plans to introduce a new web based consumer service. Concept has potential to appeal to a very large user base. Product builds on existing market proven technology of the legacy company. Company is fully funded via private capital, so angel and subsequent funding rounds will not be necessary.

The VP of Operations develops a Web Based Infrastructure of service providers with Servers, Routers, Firewalls, etc. This position is required to monitor outsourced vendor's performance. The VP must document and maintain operational procedures, develop and oversee project plans, and implement change control procedures.

The major responsibilities of this job are: analytics, strategic planning, purchasing, web marketing, and technical support.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelors degree, Masters preferred, with ten years experience in quality assurance, purchasing, operations, and /or computer operations. Minimum five years experience managing computer operations of a (Web Based) Outsourced Processing Infrastructure.
