Job Description:
We have an opening for a Senior Study Director at a leading primary market research supplier. This position is located in Northern New Jersey.
The Senior Study Director oversees all phases of market research studies for assigned clients by either performing or supervising the performance of activities required for successful studies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of project management including, but not limited to, questionnaire design and implementation, sample selection, fieldwork monitoring and data collection and analyses
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients
- Work with other areas (coding, data processing, sales, etc.) to ensure that the needs of the client are addressed
- Generate reports and participate in presentations which address client issues
- Provide guidance and supervision to less experienced staff to ensure the accurate and timely execution of research projects
- Stay current on trends and developments in the area of market research
- Perform other essential duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent in experience
- Minimum of four years market research experience, including supervisory experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external clients
- Ability to supervise and advise junior level staff
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and project management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related
software systems
