Job Description:

We are looking to a Senior SAS Programmer position at a small marketing analytics firm in South-Central Connecticut.

We are looking for someone with the following skill set:

• Strong conceptual understanding of the context and business requirements;
• Ability to perform data quality checks in a methodical manner to understand how to accurately utilize client data;
• Develop detail-oriented, logical and documented plans for data manipulation to ensure accuracy and integrity of the results;
• Expert level programming skills using SAS as a programming language to meet the challenges of advanced data manipulation, complicated programming logic, and large data volumes is required;
• Minimum five years or equivalent experience of SAS programming using SAS/BASE, SAS/MACRO, SAS/SQL, SAS/STAT, and SAS/GRAPH in a data intense environment;
• Proven capability of developing sophisticated SAS macro applications;
• Ability to communicate results and methodology with the project team and clients;
• Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a consulting environment;
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields.
