The Opportunity:

Our Client is a leading digital and direct marketing agency that provides marketing services and strategies to design, build and run mechanisms that drive customer acquisition, cross-sell, loyalty, affinity and care operations across digital and traditional media for world-leading brands.

Our Client is seeking a Senior Associate in Project Management. This position will include project management of marketing communications in various channels including direct mail, web sites, and e-marketing.

The ideal candidate for this position will be highly skilled in the following areas:

  • Project Management
  • Experience on projects with direct mail, web sites, and e-marketing

Applicants must have 2-4 years of project management in an agency or related service business. See below for further detail on the required skill sets.

Project Management:

  • Develop accurate and informed scopes of work including schedules and budgets, using the correct tools (i.e. Microsoft Project, Excel) and with regard to client and agency needs/expectations.
  • Manage project schedule and budget and ensure project progress from conception to completion including change management
  • Have a working knowledge of the workflows for direct mail, interactive marketing, and complex web design execution
  • Guide teams on mitigating risks on projects
  • Enforce quality control processes in each project

Communication Skills:

  • Set clear expectations for tasks and deliverables, communicating clearly to team and providing proper materials/documentation when necessary.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in choosing methods of communication that are most effective and efficient (e.g. team meetings, in-person visits, phone calls, email);
  • Exhibit strong listening skills and the ability to tactfully communicate position on relevant issues to reach team consensus.
  • Communicate implication to team and project of changed plans in an effective and timely manner.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and professionally at all times; demonstrate good judgment during escalation process.

Client Management:

  • Partner with internal clients in a positive, professional, and constructive way.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to ensure client expectations are managed with regard to scope and progress in schedule and budget.
  • Work with extended internal team to ensure client expectations can be met.
