Position:Senior Marketing Analyst

Position Overview:

The Senior Marketing Analyst is responsible for setting and developing the company's pricing strategy and works within the corporate marketing department. This position is offered with the possible acquisition of management duties in the near future.

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze catalog pricing
  • Recommend price changes
  • Establish pricing on new products
  • Perform support function for Marketing Managers and President
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above
  • Gather / analyze data and perform product performance / price reviews
  • Utilize margin pricing and cost analysis to improve corporate revenue
  • Analyze sales data and make recommendations to help improve the company's sales efforts
  • Strong business knowledge of Distribution, vendor relationships, analysis for products, product reviews, rebates programs.

Minimum Specifications:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal)
  • Bachelor's degree required; Economics, or Business-related degree preferred - Distribution Background a plus.
  • Strong MS Office- Excel, Access, etc.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Prefer to work in a hands on environment. 8-10 +years business experience required
