The Position

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day "product" needs of current membership programs as well as the planning and implementation for any new membership programs. This is a new position in the Product Management Team in the Marketing department.

Responsibilities

  • Product configuration:
    • Manage product configuration and set-up for clients who sell our online membership programs to consumers. Evaluate and resolve competitive issues between Clients and Benefit Providers (Shopping Vendor Merchant Lists)
    • Assist with implementation (copy, layout, project management) of new product benefits
    • Develop and maintain product competitive analyses

  • Vendor Management:
    • Develop service standards for existing Benefit Providers and monitor day-to-day adherence to such standards. For Partner Distribution Program offers, monitor to ensure offers remain "Best in Market" and renew expiring offers.
    • Maintain and monitor database of contract renewals for existing Benefit Providers
    • Develop and maintain consolidated database of potential Benefit Providers

  • Reporting:
    • Maintain and communicate product specific reporting throughout organization

  • Customer Service:
    • Coordinate with Customer Service to resolve member issues and conduct regular training sessions.
Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • 5+ years marketing experience; membership and/or continuity club experience highly valued but not required.
  • 1-2 years Internet marketing experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Technical background and project management experience valued.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently on projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to organize projects and communicate across multiple departments (Copy, Graphics, Account Management, and IT)
  • Highly motivated.
  • Highly flexible, adaptable nature.
