The Opportunity:

Our client is a global leader in customer relationship management and interactive marketing. They are seeking a Management Supervisor to lead the strategy and development of integrated marketing programs while working with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong direct response interactive experience as accounts will be primarily online-based.

Job Description:

A seasoned Management Supervisor is needed to oversee the day-to-day team, Client, and project management activities of the account. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following responsibilities:

Client Leadership:

  • Work as an extension of the client team
  • Maintain and grow strong mid-to-senior level client relationships by understanding their key marketing objectives
  • Proactively identify client growth opportunities and support the new business development process
  • Lead the development and presentation of client deliverables
Strategic Leadership:
  • Provide leadership in the areas of relationship marketing, data-driven solutions, integrated communications (brand, direct, interactive), testing, and analyses
  • Define business objectives of marketing programs and translate them into marketing strategies
  • Review customer research and data to identify key customer insights
  • Translate the insights to drive development of integrated, multi-channel direct response communications programs
  • Work with creative team to communicate strategy, review concepts, and develop client presentations
  • Independently develop marketing communications strategies to acquire, retain, cross-sell, and up-sell customers
  • Synthesize program results into actionable findings
  • Present research and results to client
Team Leadership:
  • Work in an integrated team with the Associate Creative Director and Producer/Project Manager to identify client solutions on an identified piece of client business
  • Work with Measurement and Analytic team to review test plans and results and make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Work with Media Strategist to make recommendations on integrated programs
  • Mentors and manages staff by providing regular feedback and establishing goals and development plan
Experience:
  • 4 year undergraduate degree (Marketing / Business)
  • 7+ years experience in direct marketing, online/digital experience necessary
  • PC proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Point
  • Superior client leadership skills including ability to articulate complex marketing strategies
  • Proven track record of being 'trusted advisor' with senior clients and senior agency team members
  • Strong strategic and analytic skills
  • Strong understanding of media channels
  • Deep understanding of the agency creative process
  • Superior verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, independent environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to organize and execute multiple projects and priorities
  • Must be a team player
