Position:

The Account Supervisor will be responsible for managing all marketing functions for assigned accounts requiring extensive consulting services and providing all necessary marketing counsel, budgeting, project management, program implementation, and other services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provides strong account and personnel management for three to five clients.
  2. Serves as the primary contact and as the manager for all client activities with regularly scheduled client meetings to discuss work in progress and future projects.
  3. Manages expenditures of clients' and/or firm's (in case of venture clients) funds for direct response projects.
  4. Negotiates contract renewals and selling new products and services to existing clients.
  5. Prepares draft copy, either personally or by working closely with an AE, SAE or with freelance creative writers.
  6. Participates in hiring and selection process and provides good training and professional development to direct reports.
  7. Supervises market research and media buying, working with staff or outside vendors.
  8. Directly or with an AE or SAE meets regularly with Production, Art, Mailing Lists, and Data Services to implement marketing programs on time and within budget.
  9. Prepares marketing plans, project management schedules and budgets for all projects either independently or with assistance of an AE or SAE.
  10. Participates in the identification and acquisition of new clients as directed by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four years in marketing or related field and a minimum of three years in direct response marketing.
  • Extensive knowledge of direct response marketing, general marketing concepts, printing, mailing, and data services industries needed.
  • Ability to operate a variety of office equipment; Excellent PC skills to include, Microsoft Word and Excel, and written and verbal communication.
  • Must demonstrate a professional demeanor and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver quality customer services, excellent organization skills, attention to detail and the aptitude to effectively accomplish multiple tasks required.
