The Position:
The Account Supervisor is a key day-to-day contact for our internal team and client. They are responsible for work flow and the consistency of the creative product, along with the Management Supervisor. The AS must be the facilitator of the core team-calling group meetings, discussing assignments, understanding and communicating internal and external problems/opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: Be in contact with the client via meetings, email, and phone calls. Day-to-day management responsibility for projects, as the of the key client contact on assignments.
- Core Team Leadership & Development: Facilitate work-flow in multiple offices through reviews and meetings. Build strong relationships with and ensure communication between the core teams and different offices.
- Strategic Development: Write creative briefs with help from Management Supervisor, gain core team input, and ensure sign-off by key stakeholders including clients.
- Creative Development-Oversight: Become involved with traffic, signatures, status sessions and general oversight of account details.
- Creative Development-Input: Help ensure the work is on-strategy, appropriate for brand and approved by Management Supervisor and client.
- Creative Execution-Oversight: Shoots, pre-pros, press checks, proofs.
- Meetings: Attends most client meetings, leads internal meetings with core teams, conduct last minute phone meetings amongst the different groups.
- Media Input/Oversight: Review plans and media specifications. Provide project insights to media team in applicable. Be conversant with new media including unique email and online opportunities.
- Budget Oversight: Know what's being spent where and why. Ongoing management of internal financial documentation.
- Business Goals: Help Management Supervisor meet and/or exceed the $1MM billings goal for the fiscal year. While 100% dedicated to the Cisco business there will be opportunity to work on new business and other clients time permitting.
Experience:
- 4 - 5 years in advertising or client side marketing experience
- Knowledge and experience with all disciplines (Media, account service, creative, production, event marketing, direct marketing, and online advertising)
- Knowledge of the client's business and customers better than they do!
- Comfort with a non-traditional role delivering creative ideas from an integrated marketing communications approach
- Background in marketing communications
- Background in B2B Technology advertising and a strong desire to work technology account.
- Computer skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
