Position Description
The AVP Customer Marketing Group is responsible for initiating and executing cross-sell and retention campaigns to existing clients. They establish a liaison with the Customer Analytics team to manage client touches and facilitate legally mandated mailings to support the Privacy Office.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Retail and Product to identify pertinent campaigns
- Develop tactical plan to address strategic initiatives including the use of POD portal
- Develop creative material in alignment with strategy
- Manage all aspects of execution of campaign: compliance, graphics, printing, mailing
- Work with Customer Analytics team to identify client groups to be targeted for each campaign
- Act as a gatekeeper to manage client contacts from different campaigns
- Evaluate campaign results; assess successes and failures; apply learnings to future campaigns
- Manage and execute the annual, legally mandated delivery of the corporate Privacy policy to each policyholder.
- Provide support to key constituents in the field (branch managers, marketing directors, lead coordinators) to promote campaigns and oversee lead management process
Requirements
- Campaign management role requires a great deal of collaboration with internal and external partners. Incumbent must work effectively with these groups and be able to create consensus.
- High degree of organization required to manage multiple tasks on multiple projects at once.
- Mix of creative and analytic skills are essential to build campaign and then effectively measure results. Must be comfortable manipulating and consolidating large amounts of data.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good working knowledge of insurance, annuities and investment products.
- Managerial skills - manage and mentor internal reports; manage third party vendor relationships
- College degree required; MBA plus; NASD licensing a plus
