Position:Human Resources Coordinator

The Company

Our client is the worldwide leader in the manufacture of high-quality, high-fidelity audio and electronic products for automotive, consumer and professional use. The Company operates in three segments: Automotive, Lifestyle and Professional. The Automotive segment designs, manufactures and markets audio, electronic and infotainment systems for vehicle applications primarily to be installed as original equipment by automotive manufacturers. The Lifestyle segment designs, manufactures and markets audio, video and electronic systems for home, mobile and multimedia applications. The Professional segment designs, manufactures and markets loudspeakers and electronic systems used by audio professionals in concert halls, stadiums, airports, houses of worship and theme attractions.


A significant portion (70%) of this role is providing exceptional HR support to the HR team. The role also includes some general HR administrative support to the Chief HR Officer and senior HR management team. (30%).

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing all data and technical processes for the online HRIS, Performance Management, Target Setting and Succession Planning systems
  • Creating and editing PowerPoint presentations
  • Providing support for department data requests utilizing Excel spreadsheets
  • Maintaining company-wide organization charts
  • Managing our client's on-boarding tool for all corporate new hires and terminations
  • Facilitating new hire orientation for Stamford office
  • Entering and editing personnel information in HRIS system
  • Maintaining personnel files for Stamford employees
  • Addressing employee queries regarding company policies and procedures
  • Scheduling and coordinating logistical details for onsite interviews
  • Providing support with the North American service award program, updating the policy handbook, and other miscellaneous projects as needed
  • Managing Outlook calendars and making domestic and international travel arrangements for CHRO and senior HR management team
  • Answering phone for CHRO and taking messages as needed
  • Preparing and tracking T&E expense reports
  • Assisting in meeting preparation; providing WebEx, videoconference and teleconference support
  • Handling all general administrative duties for the department including faxing, copying, scanning, mailings, invoice processing and reconciliation

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required or commensurate work experience
  • Prior experience as an HR Coordinator at a global organization for 3 plus years
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Prior experience working with SAP HR is strongly desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid experience and desire to make a career in Human Resources a plus
  • Knowledge of WebEx technology
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels within the organization
