The client provides a unique interactive direct marketing software technology to auto manufacturers and dealers. A fully integrated communication system offers phone, mail, email, mobile and web designed to address customized messaging needs of manufacturers and dealerships across sales, service, parts, maintenance, customer service, campaign management, notifications or specific notices and responses to manage and monitor all activity in real time.
The Position
The Account Manager is a newly created position dedicated to managing a major corporate account headquartered in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Working on-site, the Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for the client in the day-to-day execution of client engagements and program management, relationship building, and developing business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Build trusting, collaborative relationships with all levels of the client contacts
- Educate customers on technology, products and services and identify opportunities to promote direct marketing capabilities
- Translate insights from client's business into effective targeted marketing strategies that meet the client's priorities and goals
- Act as a resource interface with appropriate departments as needed
- Customize and develop action plans for individual accounts as necessary
- Provide regular account updates and solicit feedback and direction when appropriate
Requirements and Experience
- BS/BA degree 4+ years of agency, account management or client management experience
- Direct Marketing background with automotive or related industry experience a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of new media technology
- Experience in a "client-facing" service-oriented position focused on relationship management
- Highly organized with strong program management experience
- Strong leadership, organizational and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to create and deliver persuasive presentations.
