UK-based, (FTSE 100) Global Corporation, provides industry critical data services, information and marketing solutions to professionals in the UK, Continental Europe and Australia and publishes over 200 premier business magazines plus manages 200 online business communities. The company has created a new marketing position for their US/New York offices.
The Position
The Associate Marketing Manager will be the US-based marketer for a high profile business service unit that provides market intelligence to global industrial markets and business professionals. This new position requires a candidate who can work independently across global campaigns with substantial lead generation experience to grow an audience for B2B online products across the world, as well as grow the prospect and customer base for online pricing and news services. A strong digital marketing background is essential as well as experience working with a metrics driven marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create online and email campaigns to drive sales leads and inquiries.
- Grow the database of prospects and customers through events, partnerships and digital marketing.
- Work with sales to deliver relevant leads that convert to a business opportunity
- Work with the editorial team to create content for lead generation and nurturing campaigns.
- Track activities through to conversion.
- Manage a budget to demonstrate ROI of all activities.
- Manage and track marketing expenses for each partner program to stay within budget.
- Event coordination and presentation management.
Knowledge/Skills and Experience
- Numerical and analytical skills, strong Excel and budget management skills.
- 3- 5 years digital marketing experience - strong digital lead generation skills.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and independently manage workload.
- Proven track record in growing audiences using a full marketing mix.
- Proven track record generating sales leads and tracking revenue generated in a B2B company.
- Experience working with marketing automation tools and Salesforce.com as part of a global team would be beneficial.
- Written and spoken Spanish/Portuguese would be advantageous and viewed favorably.
