The job functions include the following:

  • Design and develop software services for use in a component-based, loosely coupled architecture
  • Assess and evaluate competing software technologies and platforms and make recommendations to stakeholders and management
  • Some travel may be required
Required Skill Set:
  • Familiarity with both traditional and agile software development methodologies
  • Two or more years of software engineering experience including verifiable .NET n-tier development
  • ASP.NET, WCF and .NET 3.5
  • Salesforce integration experience a plus
  • Knowledge in software design, object-oriented design and implementation techniques and n-tier application design; thorough understanding of design patterns and their application in software development.
  • Practical experience designing and implementing .NET-centric, service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions and publicly-facing web services
  • Must have the desire and experience to implement strong unit and service-level tests
  • Understanding of UML and the creation and maintenance of project work products including use cases, data flow charts, process flow diagrams, software requirements document, functional specifications document, etc.
  • Experience with database design, architecture, and implementation; in particular, such design, architecture, and implementation in support of n-tier .NET application architectures.
  • Functional expertise in SQL Server replication mechanisms and data synchronization;
  • Experience with building large scale online platforms supporting advanced marketing activities
  • Familiar progressive SDLC automation concepts such as continuous integration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are absolutely required
