Industry leader in online direct marketing services company located in Southern Fairfield County commutable from Westchester and New York City.

The Position

The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to be responsible for ensuring that support software functions as expected. Additionally, the QA Analyst is responsible for working with various business segments to develop an understanding of business operations and how software fits into the big picture. The QA Analyst will work with the Account Management team to coordinate and drive the development, testing and deployment of online marketing solicitations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day QA tasks as specified by our project launch schedule
  • Manually test our applications on various Operating System and browser platforms
  • Develop and execute test cases
  • Document and resolve testing issues
  • Work with across departments to validate actual test results against expected results
  • Work with key IT team members to tune and optimize web and application server performance

Experience and Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • 2 years of experience in QA field using web-based technology is desired
  • Requires a working knowledge of VBScript/ASP, JavaScript, Oracle PL/SQL and HTML
  • Knowledge of Microsoft .NET (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET) is desired
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for full product development life cycle is strongly desired
  • Must have a working knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability are a must
  • Must have great attention to detail
