The Position
Director, Business Development will be a key member of the marketing and sales team and will directly contribute to the growth and expansion of the business. This success-driven individual will generate leads, build new relationships, manage new accounts and coordinate with Marketing and Relationship Management to strategically grow existing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Support development of strategic sales plans to meet company objectives
- Identify potential business opportunities through research and prospecting
- Establish and cultivate relationships with industry professionals to acquire new business and grow revenue
- Prepare written proposals and/or formal presentations in response to prospects' expressed interest.
- Manage existing and new client accounts as may be necessary
- Maintain complete, updated status of all information relating to sales activities
- Meet and exceed aggressive sales goals
Experience and Qualifications
- Four-year college degree preferred.
- 5+ years' sales experience, including 2 years of new business or sales development.
- Measurable experience selling services to mortgage brokers and/or lenders or significant related sales experience within the mortgage sector.
- Excellent presentation and communications skills
