The Position
The Vice President, Network Services has responsibility for leading the team which seeks out and develops relationships with publishers and major content partners to increase the reach of the remnant inventory network. In addition, the VP, Network Services will drive new product innovation and develop data-driven approaches to deliver the highest effective rates and high inventory fill rates for publishers. The candidate will also supervise the Director, Network Relations with responsibility for remnant inventory business development and marketing
Responsibilities
- Build teams and establish/manage interfaces with the publishing community as well as internal product management, engineering, marketing, and partner management organizations throughout the entire implementation cycle.
- Establish processes, interfaces and execution approach for delivering against internal and external product/network development schedules.
- Leverage best practice project management tools to allow for work delivery management, progress tracking and issue/risk monitoring.
- Definition, assessment and management of resource impact and requirements.
- Manage the implementation and roll out of bundled remnant inventory network products with strategic partners.
- Maintain relationships with network participants, ensuring they are aligned with the goals and priorities to maximize the value of each page, site or product.
- Lead proactive communication and coordination of product initiatives and revenue opportunities in a professional and consultative manner.
- Identify process gaps and overlaps, and proactively work to eliminate those gaps or redundancies to improve efficiencies of overall processes.
- Ensure timely monetization analysis of the network, as well as clear communication of network priorities and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or higher (Graduate degree preferred)
- 8+ years experience in online digital advertising
- 5+ years management experience
- 3+ years experience with online advertising networks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Familiarity with ComScore, Nielsen/NetRatings, @Plan. (Media Audit a plus)
- Use of sales / CRM software (e.g. Salesforce.com, etc.)
