The client is an established high profile publishing Giant in the direct marketing world, operating for over 50 years known to generations for its values-based education and entertainment.
The Position
Working within the marketing department, the selected candidate will develop and implement direct marketing list plans for assigned campaigns. This individual must be able to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and distill strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accomplish marketing and promotional objectives by developing campaign list plans.
- Analyze historical direct marketing campaign performance data at a list level, and build future plans based on response and profitability trends.
- Present campaign plan to marketing team for approval and make adjustments as needed.
- Implement campaign plans, specifically coordinating list orders and overseeing data processing to include address hygiene, merge purge, and postal presort.
- Evaluate plan performance against objectives and assess overall effectiveness with an understanding of how to use the results for future planning efforts.
- Maintain and update campaign list histories.
- Develop timelines for each assigned campaign.
- Maintain working relationships with vendors.
- Negotiates with vendors as necessary.

- Ability to focus on day-to-day planning needs, with some exposure to "big picture" thinking.
- Exchange information with others clearly and concisely, both written and verbal.
- Capable user of Microsoft Excel and Access.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in a related field.
- 2+ years marketing related experience.
