Position

The Director of International Customer Development will direct the development and implementation of the Company's short and long-range international sales and marketing plans and achieve results consistent with our client's strategic plan, vision and culture under the direction of the Vice President of Global Customer Development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a long-term international market development strategy
  • Analyze global opportunities and establish market priorities
  • Develop and implement the annual international sales and profitability plan consistent with the Company's strategic plan
  • Recommend, establish, and manage international markets for our client's brands providing a long-term significant volume, revenue and profit stream for the Company
  • Establish market entry criteria and market priorities and ensure compliance with foreign regulations
  • Build business relationships with U.S. government and industry officials to facilitate international development
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Technical Services, Supply Chain, and Brand Development to facilitate timely product and packaging development

Requirements

  • Strategic decision making experience
  • Excellent leadership and analytical skills
  • 10 years in the consumer products industry with the last 5 being in international brand or sales
  • Project management skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • International sales and marketing experience
  • Foreign language skills
