Position

The Web Designer, working with a Copywriter, will concept and design new direct marketing web pages to optimize the profitability of consumer marketing in this space.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and design new solicitation web pages, banners, promotions and HTML email campaigns in alignment with the Company's direct marketing strategies
  • Support Business Development by designing marketing demos for sales efforts to client prospects
  • Interface with the IT development team to ensure art specifications and functional aspects of the marketing pages meet the Company's technical standards
  • Remain current with industry best practices and apply them to the creation of new web solicitation pages

Requirements

  • 5 years experience (3 as an Art Director) in the design and development of web pages and banner advertising (samples required)
  • Strong experience designing for online communications and promotions in a direct response testing environment
  • Internet solicitation experience
  • Email, membership and/or continuity club experience strongly preferred
  • Experience designing ecommerce transaction flows a plus
  • Must be proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop (as well as CSS and HTML ideally)
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Flash, ASP and Database
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Able to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high quality work and projecting a positive attitude
