Position

The Director of Consumer & Package Insights contributes to the success of our client by supporting the Global Revenue Strategy team in addressing strategic questions impacting the direction of the company. The position will include the development of a strategic framework, the analysis of package innovation, consumer insights and trends, and operating with the senior leadership team.

As a member of the Global Revenue Strategy team, this individual will assist in addressing key strategic questions facing the company. The primary focus will be to develop and activate a multi-year package and value strategy to drive their top line growth.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze external and internal business trends and dynamics to help develop our client's long term business growth strategy; areas of analysis include:
    • Consumer insights and trends
    • Package innovation
    • Opportunity and competitive position assessments
    • Strategic option development and assessment
    • Profitability and returns optimization
  • Apply knowledge of category and consumer insights to create solutions
  • Ability to problem solve, think strategically and turn insights into effective strategies and tactics

Qualifications

  • Basic Job Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years of Consumer Product Goods experience
    • Bachelors Degree
  • Preferred Job Qualifications
    • Minimum of 3 years of Category Management experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of Package & Pricing Architecture experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of Strategy experience
    • Working knowledge of Syndicated Data (i.e.: IRI, Nielsen)
    • Masters Degree/ MBA
    • Strong communication and verbal skills
    • Strong ability to influence others
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel & Word
