Position

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the management and growth of the FDC/Windhover database and online products through the entire product lifecycle. Responsibilities include product profitability, developing all budgets for the product, providing strategic vision and goals for the product. The candidate will also be responsible for the marketing plan of new and existing products, including pricing and positioning along with market and customer research, product training and marketing collateral.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver product profitability and product sales targets
  • Develop strategic vision and product roadmaps for the products
  • Create and maintain product budgets (revenue and direct sales, marketing and direct product expenses.)
  • Develop strategic marketing plan for each product
  • Collaborate with marketing resources and the sales leadership team to define overall sales strategy, and to develop products and solutions
  • Supervises product manager

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in business marketing, economics or related field is preferred
  • Minimum of four years experience is required working with online products in health or pharmaceutical information industry
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy
  • Creative skills needed for implementing ideas into successful products
  • Staff consulting and relationship building skills
  • Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases)
  • Executive presence to influence senior decision-makers
  • Financial awareness needed to determine best course of action from a profit and loss standpoint
  • Customer focus which includes understanding customers' needs, the market, and the competitive environment
