Position Overview
The company is a seeking a customer service and team oriented individual for the position of Interactive Strategist. This person will provide account teams and clients with assistance in: understanding the online user behavior of our clients' target audiences, defining analytics strategies, managing insight and research projects, developing interactive strategies, performing analysis and writing reports and POVs.
Responsibilities
- Convert client-articulated needs into methodologically and strategically sound proposals with current clients as well as new business RFP's
- Gather and synthesize data from site measurement tools into reports with actionable insights
- Independently find insightful data and research from free and paid resources
- Act as the project champion for strategies to program design, implementation, and reporting for smaller search projects
- Participate in team discussions
- Participate in the collection and analysis of target audience behavioral data
- Make formal and informal presentations that inform and engage audiences
- Participate in developing screeners, questionnaires, and interview guides
- Work with Marketing and Account Services to proactively develop and propose value-added ideas/insights to drive the development and execution of interactive strategies of key accounts on a regular basis
- Identify vendors and partners to deliver value added and full-service solutions to clients
- Create promotion ideas that are current to the latest trends
- Act as client's/prospective clients' focal point, as assigned by the CMO
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, with three (3) to five (5) years relevant industry experience
- Strong interest in online business strategy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with an emphasis on Excel and Access
- Working knowledge of Internet research and compiling and analyzing data, statistics and trends from web sites
- Strong quantitative analysis skills
- Hands-on experience with Web analytics tools (e.g. WebTrends, Omniture), Internet research tools, SEO and Paid Search
- Business analysis and data quality management skills
- Ability to utilize and comprehend analytic tools
