The Position

The Vice President of Financial Services & Healthcare will be primarily responsible for developing and managing the sales and delivery of a suite of financial products to both the sell and buy side of the financial community.

Responsibilities

New Product Development:
• Ensures the development of a suite of products for the financial industry
• Utilizes all available in- house resources in the form of internal Global Therapy Monitor secondary data sources, specialty panels, experts in the form of forecasters, methodologists and researcher

Business Development:

• Develops and delivers on a 2008 financial service budget by generating new business from financial industry clients including, sell side and buy side

Project Management

• Develops and delivers sustainable products which, will meet the needs of the financial analysts and portfolio managers
• Sets direction and ensures that all activities are done accurately, efficiently, within budget and in a timely manner

Cross function approach

• Leads, motivates and influences in house teams (who are not direct reports) to ensure that ability to develop and deliver financial products to clients effectively and efficiently

Requirements

• PhD level of education
• 4-5 years experience within the financial analytical arena working for a major broker or investment bank
• Member of the CFA
• International financial research background
• Understanding of the needs of sell side and buy side firms regarding financial reporting and analyses
• Established network of financial analysts and portfolio managers
• Business development skills
• Ability to provide and coordinate high-level, strategic consultation to clients
