The Position

The Senior Analyst will be a critical lead team member reporting directly to the President and Chief Analyst. The Senior Analyst will be a master of intelligence in the area of the emotional relationship between brands and their customers.

This position will work closely with CMO/CEO and CFO leaders to deliver insightful presentations, opinions and guidance. The Senior Analyst will also prepare compelling briefs and written analyses for clients. In addition, the Senior Analyst will play an active role in the company's marketing, including authoring articles for publication, providing interviews and commentary to the media, and speaking at conferences and events.

Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; Graduate/Doctorate degree a plus
  • Minimum (7) years experience in brand consulting, brand planning and strategy management consulting (with a focus on marketing and brand), and/or corporate brand management and marketing is mandatory
  • Demonstrated career success managing loyalty in customer relationships and its connection to competitive strategy
  • Measurable experience advising and working with C-level and senior marketing management and business executives. Skills in effective execution, including managing multiple complex activities and high-level client relationships are imperative
  • Thorough and extensive understanding of consumer marketing
  • Effective interpersonal skills: confidence with subject matter and a "calm under pressure" approach and style
  • Superior writing, presentation and communication skills are absolute requirements
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing research; statistical analysis support is provided
  • Prior experience managing staff is strongly preferred
  • While specific industry experience is not mandatory, candidates with financial services, retail and hospitality will be viewed favorably
