Overview
The Account Executive is responsible for generating new revenue from sales to new clients in the Home area.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Assisting in market assessment, including identifying potential customers and prospective contacts and creating reports
- Preparing baseline proposals
- Handling inbound and outbound leads
- Developing and implementing comprehensive sales plans for each target
- Delivering presentations to clients
- Managing client relationships to build a reputation for excellent service and generate repeat business
- Growing revenue of the accounts as well as identifying new business opportunities within the given budget structure
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of exceeding sales goals, experience selling to large, complex accounts using a consultative selling process
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Experience in a service-oriented business and/or market research/client industry a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven ability to analyze customer needs and goals to assist in generating thoughtful, creative proposals that exceed customer expectations and expand revenue opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships
- The ability to successfully manage many complex prospective clients and projects simultaneously
- Excellent negotiation skills, including the art of persuasion and creativity
- Strong networking, prospecting, and executive selling skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong presentation and follow-up skills
- Expert in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
