Our client is a lucrative holding company for consumer packaged goods and principal subsidiaries. Their products are both marketable and profitable on a global scale.

The Position

There is a need for an efficient and knowledgeable Database Marketing Analyst to work with the company's marketing database as well as with third-party databases to execute and support direct and interactive marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Promotional tracking and analysis of direct and interactive marketing campaigns using both standard and ad hoc statistical analysis and reports developed by the incumbent
• Coordinate and prioritize the work among the vendors including the coordination and monitoring of the maintenance and integrity of multiple databases
• Collaborate with the direct and interactive marketing program specialist and/or manager to ensure each campaign is executed according to brand plan and in compliance with legal requirements
• Develop and code the list segmentation for all direct and interactive marketing campaigns and communicate requirements to the primary database vendor
• Act as Circulation Manager for magazine by executing the segmentation according to brand plans

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Math related discipline with 2 - 4 years experience, or 4 -7 years equivalent work experience utilizing database query and reporting tools (such as SQL, SAS) with promotional marketing, relational and transactional databases
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Superior analytical skills with a solid business foundation, especially in the marketing area
• Experience developing and presenting business conclusions based upon data analysis
• Ability to code campaigns in a manner that allows for efficient and added value information during analysis
• Detailed oriented, organized, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Above average verbal and written communication skills are required
