Position Description

The essential function of the Vice President of Financial Services is to evaluate the client's needs for quantitative analysis and to manage the work processes, output and P/L of the Quantitative Marketing Team. The VP will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that coincide with the objectives of the organization and its clients, as well as, guiding others in linking their activities to the objectives. It is expected that the VP will take the lead role in creating and articulating relevant solutions for clients and in developing proposals for implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops the appropriate DBM solution for many of our Fortune 500 clients
  • Executes and delivers this DBM solution on time and on budget
  • Leads, manages and coaches a high performing quantitative marketing team
  • Delivers world-class solutions that have a direct impact on our client's ROI
  • Manages the day-to-day and week-to-week priorities of our clients and their solutions
  • Provides thought leadership around quantitative marketing
  • Develops proposals and responds to RFPs
  • Establishes pricing for new initiatives

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Statistics or related quantitative field required
  • Strong background in quantitative arena and direct marketing industry
  • Strong analytical skills, statistical modeling skills using credit data and compiled demographic data
  • Hands on experience in building, implementing and validating predictive marketing models
  • Experience with SAS programming
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Comfort and ease in conducting client interface and prospect management
