Position Description

The Director of Client Information and Analytics will drive revenue and profit by leading the strategy and execution of the following 3 functions: Client Master Data, Marketing Analytics and Marketing Reporting. An individual in this position will maneuver through appropriate formal and informal organization channels as well as interface with senior executives. In addition the Director will be responsible for leading, motivating and coaching staff and manager level employees.

Responsibilities

  • Analytics: Develop appropriate processes and programs to ensure in-depth research and analysis of client data. Analyze customer behaviors and purchasing patterns: shopping basket analysis, cluster analysis, predictive models, value models (LTV, RFM, etc.), etc. Maximize business results by recommending strategies relative to acquisition, retention, marketing mix, touch plans, merchandising, promotions, sales actions, etc. Conduct reporting and ROI analysis of all marketing actions. Determine "allowable costs" for marketing actions. Develop appropriate processes and programs to ensure the correct assessment and targeting of various business segment opportunities. Perform "horizontal" analysis of targeted client groups. Research and analyze new opportunities. Analyze sales data (sales territory analysis, Partner analysis, etc.). Estimate market development potential and provide recommendations to sales and Product Management leadership teams. Manage data supplier selection and relationships to maximize yield - manage some relationship globally.
  • Client Master Data: Influence IT recommendations on Client Master Data structure. Participate in establishment of long term Client Master Data strategy plan. Build and implement Client Master Data governance. Develop Client Master Data team work flow processes and policies. Continually optimize resource plan for Client Master Data team. Manage data hygiene and data quality.
  • Global: Provide leadership, guidance and influence Client Information & Analytics teams worldwide.
  • Reporting: Manage client reporting function. Reports include marketing ROI reports, Partner marketing reports, client history reports. Provide marketing and sales team with client lists for campaigns, book of accounts for reps, etc. Optimize resources for execution of reports through the use new technology and automation, self-serve portals, outsourcing, etc.
  • Business Reporting: Provide senior management and business unit's guidance on short and long term sales potential and market conditions. Manage and deliver report on the fundamentals of the business, and strategy (client counts, order size, conversion rates, etc.).
  • Customer Satisfaction: Lead measurement, reporting and analysis of Customer Satisfaction worldwide. Develop and champion appropriate changes to the company's marketing and business strategies
  • Management Role: The Director is responsible for the budget and headcount of his team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's and Master's Degree; 5-15 years of experience in client information and analytics function
  • Demonstrated success in structuring client master data and building policies and processes to ensure data integrity and quality
  • Broad analytical capabilities applied to marketing
  • Practical experience and demonstrated results conducting statistical analysis (regression, correlation, etc.) and building models (RFM, LTV, cross-sell, up-sell, shopping basket, propensity, etc.)
  • Experience using extraction tools such as SPSS and SAS
  • Experience with managing reporting function and using reporting tools
  • Relevant experience in market, customer, and competitor research
  • Understand and communicate the company's vision both in the short and long term
  • Experience working with a CRM system
