The Company
A leading target marketing agency specializing in the banking industry seeks a National Sales Manager to join their team. They are a full-service company providing effective programs to aid their clients in increasing core deposits, onboarding new customers, building branch traffic, and more. The company also works with non-bank companies to achieve similar goals.
The Position
The National Sales Manager will be charged with the important roles of identifying and selling to clientele and of managing a team of in-house and outside sales executives focused on selling across all of the company's Intelligent Target Marketing services.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, hire/fire, train, and motivate sales executives
- Manage towards a goal of yielding profitable revenue growth for the company
- Leverage knowledge of direct marketing practices to ensure that sales executives are focused and achieve their stated goals
- Represent the company as a leader in the direct marketing services industry
- Develop your own portfolio in the southern territory and/or list of non-bank direct marketing clients to sell and service
- Develop and maintain strategic marketing alliances with partners to develop cross-sell opportunities
- Coordinate the development of sales promotion and lead generation activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree a plus.
- Five plus years managing P&L and sales executives within a successful direct marketing services organization. Five or more years of successful sales experience from within the direct marketing industry.
- Knowledge of direct marketing sales and services, and the ability to provide an integrated solution to prospects and customers.
- Track record of success working with senior executive level client
- Must be able to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and indifference and connects "need" with the company's solutions.
- Ability to stay current with our innovations, as well as products and services offered by the competition and the broader direct marketing services space.
- Impeccable oral and verbal communication and presentation skills
