Position Summary
There is a current need for Study Director to provide technical expertise to the company. This position will assist and oversee all phases of market research studies for assigned clients by performing and supervising the activities required for successful studies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist in all phases of project management including, but not limited to: proposal writing, questionnaire design and implementation, sample selection, fieldwork monitoring and data collection, analysis, report writing, and participation in presentations which address client issues.
- Ensure that all activities are done accurately, efficiently, within budget and in a timely manner
- Provide guidance and supervision to less experienced staff to ensure the accurate and timely execution of research projects
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
- Work with other areas (coding, data processing, sales, etc.) to ensure that the needs of the client are addressed
- Stay current on trends and development in the area of market research
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three to five years' market research experience or Graduate degree with minimum of two years industry experience
- Understanding of the organization's philosophy and objectives as they relate to performing market research projects
- Working knowledge of research processes and analyses and the ability to run the projects
- Thorough knowledge of the department's policies and practices as they relate to market research initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external clients
- Ability to supervise and advise junior level staff and proven leadership ability in fast-paced environments
- Excellent organization, problem solving and project management skills
- Strong analytical and computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems
