Our client is an online direct marketing entertainment company that applies traditional direct marketing principles to its online marketing efforts.

Online Media Buyer Position

The Online Media Buyer is responsible for establishing, negotiating and developing profitable media and vendor relationships. An individual in this position will identify and execute written agreements with cost-effective, scalable and targeted sources of media that can provide qualified and profitable traffic. In addition, the buyer will negotiate pricing and acquire inventory primarily on a CPA and CPM basis for banners, email, pop-up and other direct response inventory, while ensuring that sources maintain the minimum acceptable ROI metrics/goals.

    Responsibilities:
    • Identify online media buying opportunities and negotiate tests to determine profitability of online campaigns.
    • Negotiate, develop, monitor and manage delivery of booked campaigns on CPA, CPC and CPM models.
    • Manage vendor relationships.

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years experience buying interactive display ad units for direct response
    • Industry contacts
    • Ability to work independently
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Well-developed negotiation skills
    • Strong writing skills
    • Phone selling/cold calling experience
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, competitive, and fun environment
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
