The Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Vice President. This role will be primarily responsible for overseeing work done by the account groups within his/her division including maintaining regular and personal contacts with senior client officials. In addition, the VP will work closely with the President and the New Business Development Team to acquire new business for the firm.

Key Responsibilities

The VP will be expected to fulfill the following duties:

  • Provide strong personnel management and account management expertise.
  • Provide assistance in the recruitment, selection, hiring, supervision, training, professional development and mentoring of all staff.
  • Ensure that marketing programs for all clients achieve the clients' and firm's objectives.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and personnel.
  • Ensure that the organization achieves or exceeds its gross profit budgetary objectives
  • Coordinate, administer, and direct new business activities to achieve the firm's targeted annual growth rate to include: acquiring new accounts and helping account managers retain existing accounts so that the business center serves five to ten clients.
  • Act as the President, as needed or directed, in his/her absence.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 11 years total work experience within marketing and direct response marketing
  • Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, excellent PC skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel and superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personnel management and leadership abilities
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and conflict resolutions skills
  • Ability to deliver quality customer service
  • Knowledge of direct response marketing and general marketing concepts
  • Extensive knowledge of printing, mailing, and computer service industries preferred
  • Excellent selling and negotiating skills
  • Ability to oversee the management of priorities and projects to ensure that client projects are implemented on time and within budget.
