The Company
Our client is a leading multi-channel international e-marketing organization seeking a sales executive for their Chicago and New York offices. There is an opportunity for a virtual office depending on location. The hiring company offers integrated marketing solutions through behavior-enhanced consumer data, proprietary websites and digital marketing services that include Search Engine Marketing and Banners.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will leverage knowledge of consultative selling strategies and current direct marketing best practices to convert prospects into the client's data and database; specifically appends, installs and data sales.
- Prospect new customers to meet and exceed sales goals; extend sales opportunities with existing clients.
- Continually probe client and prospect's needs to connect those needs with company's solutions.
- Promote company as a leader in direct marketing services for the industry.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years successful sales experience from within the direct marketing industry selling data, data-processing and related services.
- Rolodex of appropriate decision-makers.
- Knowledge of database sales, data processing services, and the ability to provide an integrated solution to prospects and customers. Must be able to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and indifference and connects "need" with company's solutions.
- Ability to stay current with company's innovations as well as products and services offered by the competition and the broader direct marketing services space.
- Impeccable listening, communication and presentation skills.
- Eager, motivated and a passion for success.
- Bachelor's degree required.
