Position Overview:

Currently the client is seeking the right individual for the position of Vice President and General Manager of Analysts Services. This position reports to the Group President, is a senior leader of the Display Search Management team and a key contributor to the overall strategy for this high growth global business.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Management of the Analyst based business Display Search.
  • Management of 6-8 direct reports who are Analyst Team Leaders, with an overall team of 20 persons
  • Recruitment, training, mentoring, and coaching of Team Leaders
  • Management and creation of overall report metrics such as timing and quality.
  • Defining the Team Leader role. Today a team leader is responsible for managing a set of categories and reports for Display Search. They manage cross-matrix teams of 2-8 people.
  • Lead the activities and efforts of a team of analysts including: report writing, consulting and public speaking at conferences.
  • Being accountable for the career development and overall HR management of the group
  • Managing the overall Profit & Loss for the Analyst Group
  • Working with the GM of Sales & Marketing to help to support business development and strategy
  • Working with Product Management to help launch and market new products.
  • Working closely with Regional Managers to ensure staffing and support on a global basis.

Qualifications:

  • BA Required, MBA preferred
  • 10 + years experience as an Analyst
  • 5 + years experience managing Analysts
  • Prior Profit & Loss responsibility
  • Global experience specifically in the Asian market
  • High Tech or Client experience preferred
  • Experience in working in complex matrix management organizations
  • Demonstrated qualities that indicate strong leadership ability and change agent
  • Solid presentation skills
