The Company
Dynamic, NYC multi-channel direct marketing company is seeking Vice President of Operations to manage third party service suppliers and support our dynamic business expansion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage third party suppliers in North American and Europe to assure service level standards are met.
- Working with Marketing, develop strategies to upgrade the service level standards in order to meet customer expectations.
- Analyze and develop worldwide cost standards for operations. Develop and execute cost reduction plan and manage the unit cost of operations to stay within budget.
- Work with the Marketing Department and third party suppliers to ensure seamless implementation and reporting of all promotions.
- Manage staff of two professionals providing goals, direction, career development, and performance reviews.
- Employ third party suppliers' and in-house technology to streamline the management reporting.
- All other duties reasonably related to the position.
Qualifications
The candidate must have Bachelors degree (MBA preferred) with 5 to 10 years of proven success in leading / driving operational changes to meet new business requirements and deliver profitable growth. Candidate should have experience in managing order processing, fulfillment and call center activities for multi-channel media such as catalog, direct mail, statement enclosures and e-commerce. Also, the candidate must demonstrate strong analytical experience; have a keen aptitude for cost control; knowledge of continuity programs and "print-on demand". International experience is a major plus.
