The Position
Currently our client is seeking a smart, experienced individual to fulfill a National Account Sales position, that offers the opportunity to work with major retail accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop leads and prospects for new advertising.
- Develop and execute a daily account contact plan.
- Have regular face-to-face meetings with C level clients and prospects.
- Analyze prospects needs and make direct marketing recommendations to generate new business within the client's product lines.
- Manage and support existing accounts while generating additional revenue.
- Interact with various disciplines such as Account Managers and Marketers to create a team approach.
- Ensure profitability by adhering to pricing as established by Management.
- Meet or exceed sales revenue goals
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed that help create company growth. Such as, the development of sales material for prospects and other creative endeavors
Requirements
- Possesses a competitive nature, a high degree of persistence with a strong sense of urgency
- Proven track record with national accounts selling co-operative media, inserts or solo direct mailings.
- Media/Direct marketing background preferred, retail rolodex a plus.
- Outstanding verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to develop relationships and communicate at Executive levels within nationally branded/nationally located companies.
- Ability to manage deadlines accurately, effectively and efficiently.
