Position Overview
This position, AVP Business Analyst and Project Manager, will be key in the collection and organizing of data quality requirements and articulating these requirements into deliverables. The individual chosen for this position will work closely with other departments, such as IT, DBA and business alike to understand current environment and communicate on projects, prioritization and data quality concepts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data quality technical staff, applications development, and the data owners/subject matter experts from the businesses.
- Work directly with the business to establish the data quality business rules that will provide the foundation of the organization's data quality improvement plan.
- Manage multiple high-profile projects and ensure these projects are executed efficiently and deliver per expectation.
- Analyze data quality reports as well as work with various data sources.
- Anticipate, uncover and determine root causes of data quality issues.
- Critical role in establishing a data quality methodology documenting a repeatable set of processes for determining, investigating and resolving data quality issues, establishing an on-going process for maintaining quality data, and defining data quality audit procedures.
- Articulate the need for and the benefits of data quality to IT and the business alike will be critical.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or 8 - 10 years related experience
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and excite Marketing and Sales areas with new technology solutions and processes and bring them on-board the development process.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, and execute on details.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and participate in multiple, concurrent projects.
- Experience in creating business requirements, business processes and operational procedures documents for the User community.
- Proficient in MS Projects and project management methodology.
- Experience with handling of international data a plus.
- Experience with CRM and Data Quality software (Epiphany, Unica, Trillium, etc). Must have enough technical experience around how these solutions work and be able to translate these understanding to the client's business process.
- Experience in managing projects from creation to completion.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Access, Visio and Excel.
