The client is continuously stretching the definitions of conventional research, operating across 6 continents, in 51 countries and 24 time zones.
The Position
This position of Account Group Manager is an opportunity for a highly motivated, self-starter to assume a leadership role in the management of project execution for several large complex financial services industry clients that involve a substantial on-going volume of business. The individual must have a strong market research background.
Responsibilities
- Project management throughout all phases including (but not limited to): questionnaire design, data collection, supervision of data processing and analysis, presentation of final deliverables and monitoring overall costs.
- Develop client relationships by establishing a leadership position in all communications with assigned clients and by maintaining a high level of client service.
- Active involvement in the overall direction of all projects by mentoring less experienced team members to ensure the accurate and timely execution of research projects.
- Training assigned staff in research methodology, client servicing and company procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of marketing research experience (specifically financial services marketing research project management)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and on a team
- Strong client service orientation
- Strong people management skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task
- Attention to project schedule deadlines
- Willing to work overtime when necessary
- High degree of professionalism
- Computer literacy, preferably with Microsoft software (i.e. Word for Windows, Excel)
