Position

The National Sales Director is responsible for managing a sales force selling the client's programs to national advertisers. This position is an exciting, ground floor opportunity for someone to lead a new sales group to great heights of revenue achievement with new products in several vertical markets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage towards a goal of yielding significant revenue growth
  • Lead, direct and mentor " industry junior" sales force
  • Strategically focus sales team at specific verticals and advertisers
  • Create policies and procedures that support results achievement
  • Employ and teach a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and indifference and connects "need" with the client's solutions.
  • Promote the client as a leader in the direct marketing services industry.

Requirements

  • Five plus years experience as a successful sales manager in a similar environment
  • Previous experience managing a minimum of 7 headcount on a national basis
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Track record of success working with senior executive level client counterparts.
  • Strong listener.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree a PLUS.
