The Company

Our client markets insurance differently. As the leader in the direct marketing of life and supplemental health insurance, their mission is to provide their customers with products they want, when and where they want them. Our client is the premier direct marketer of life and supplemental health insurance products and fee-based programs. They develop direct marketing campaigns for insurers, banks, and other financial services institutions to sell life and supplemental health insurance. It uses direct mail, telemarketing, and the Internet, as well as co-branded marketing agreements, to sell term and whole life, accidental death, and retiree medical insurance (among other things).

The Position

The ideal candidate is a thought leader responsible for driving revenue enhancement and strategic growth opportunities via analytic research and analysis. Responsible for using new analytical methodologies to drive strategic vision and marshal change. Should be well versed in CRM strategies, data driven marketing strategies, and relationship value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the performance and strategic analytic groups.
  • Through others, develop and implement various types of predictive models, segmentation strategies, contact management strategies, multi-channel offer strategy and streaming, LTV strategy, data mining analyses, and perform R&D on new innovative analytic techniques.
  • Lead strategic analytic group in exploiting data in an effort to promote growth and business development via deep data mining analysis
  • Determine and implement operations procedures and lead the performance analytic group in the management of projects and resources.
  • Assist in business development and growth by working with business partners and clients in developing and implementing new analytical methodologies with a targeted result of increasing revenue.
  • Cultivate solid relationships with staff, internal partners and clients.
  • Develop and measure companywide CRM strategies.
  • Marshal change to align with vision of the department and organization.

Requirements

  • Must be highly versed in analytic methodologies.
  • Must have a track record of aligning activities with business strategies and measuring impact on business results.
  • Work experiences must demonstrate an ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal marketing clients.
  • Must be capable of contributing expertise and leading efforts both in statistical modeling techniques and in consumer research and analysis.
  • Must have a track record of implementing operational excellence (process efficiencies, effective tools and technologies) in an analytics function.
  • Will be able to show they have exhibited leadership with conviction and how they have proposed new paths based on analysis findings.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or business; MBA preferred.
  • 10+years in database marketing (focused in analytics).
  • 3+ years leadership experience at senior level.
  • Experience in international markets is a plus.
